With a strong blend of agency and in-house experience, Scott Lusk has led reputation management, stakeholder engagement, media relations, and crisis communications for large corporations in heavily-regulated industries for more than 15 years.
Prior to joining Signal, Lusk’s agency and association experience included developing and executing end-to-end communications and thought leadership programs for companies in healthcare, technology, law, staffing, chemicals and manufacturing. In these roles, Lusk helped some of the world’s most recognizable companies proactively shape their narratives, manage reputational risk and protect their brand value in the face of potentially disastrous events.
His in-house career includes multiple award-winning communications efforts at Kaiser Permanente and Lockheed Martin. At Kaiser Permanente, Lusk led external communications and social media for the Mid-Atlantic region, which consists of 780,000 members and 10,000 staff across 33 facilities. At Lockheed Martin, he developed the global communications plan for the company’s entry into renewable energy market and led media campaigns for missile defense and IT programs. He also served as spokesperson for corporate activities related to human resources, acquisitions, diversity & inclusion, university relations, recruiting, labor, and executive compensation.
