Josie Feron joins Signal Group after more than seven years working in communications on Capitol Hill. Most recently, she served as Communications Director for Rep. Deborah Ross, where she managed media relations, strategic messaging, and digital strategy. Before that, she worked on the communications team for Rep. Jamie Raskin.
Throughout her career on Capitol Hill, she has advised elected officials on communications strategy, developed messaging around complex policy issues, and worked to secure media coverage that advances legislative priorities. She led messaging strategy around major Democratic accomplishments, from passage of the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to the first bipartisan housing package in 30 years.
She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in political science and international affairs. While in Georgia for school, she was drawn to public service and worked at the Georgia General Assembly, volunteered on local political campaigns, and wrote for Georgia Political Review.
Josie is a Maryland native and now lives in Washington, D.C. Outside of work, she enjoys running, training for new races, traveling, and exploring the city’s restaurants.
