With a strong background in environmental advocacy and strategic communications, Emily serves as an Outdoors Associate at Signal, where she represents nonprofits, companies, coalitions, and causes focused on public lands, conservation, ocean protection, climate, sustainability, and outdoor recreation policy.
Emily's passion for the outdoors stems from her lifelong involvement in scouting and hands-on experience in conservation work. She brought this environmental perspective to her mentorship at the U.S. Department of Justice, where she researched climate change's impact on immigration patterns and policy implications. At a previous firm, she developed her strategic communications and marketing skills before joining Signal as a Communications Intern and advancing to her current role.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Kenyon College and completed the Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business, where she developed expertise in business strategy, marketing, microeconomics, finance, and accounting.
