Our team has worked with presidents, world leaders, diplomats, and CEOs across industries. Advocacy Internships
Signal is looking for intern candidates interested in a career in government relations and advocacy. Our internship program provides the opportunity to be fully integrated into client teams at a top D.C. firm. Interns participate in vital day-to-day work and contribute to congressional monitoring, policy analysis, legislative tracking, and more. Our advocacy client teams specialize in a variety of issue areas including defense, trade, technology, environment, financial services, outdoor recreation, regional issues, and more. We value our interns for their unique, fresh perspectives and are open to receiving applications from candidates in unrelated fields, but the ideal candidate aspires to pursue a career in public policy, government, international relations, policy research, or other related fields.
Communications Internships
Signal is looking for communications intern candidates interested in a career in Public Relations/ Communications and related fields. Our internship program provides the opportunity to be fully integrated into client teams at a top D.C. agency. Interns participate in vital day-to-day work and contribute to content creation, social media monitoring, media outreach, and more. We value our interns for their unique, fresh perspectives and are open to receiving applications from candidates in unrelated fields, but the ideal candidate aspires to pursue a career in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or public affairs.
Logistics:
Signal prides itself on launching the careers of young professionals and has a long history of hiring interns as full-time members of the team. We host paid communications and advocacy internships over three sessions each year:
- Spring (January – May)
- Summer (June – August)
- Fall (September – December)
