Andrew Postal Senior Manager

Andrew brings a decade of strategic communications and media relations experience in both the public and private sectors. Andrew has a passion for environmental and energy policy and works to boil down complex policies into plain language that is accessible to the public and media.

Prior to joining Signal, Andrew served as the Communications Director at the Climate Action Campaign—a vibrant coalition of a dozen major national environment, environmental justice, and public health groups working together to drive ambitious, durable federal action based on science to address the climate crisis. During his time at CAC, Andrew led the development of messaging and communications strategies, both at the national and state level, to bring climate to the forefront for key decisionmakers. These efforts contributed to the successful passage of the Inflation Reduction Act—the largest investment in climate and clean energy ever made in American history.

He also worked on Capitol Hill for the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and for U.S. Representative Julia Brownley (CA-26). While at the House T&I Committee, Andrew helped shape the communications strategy and tactics for high-profile moments, such as the passage of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the release of the Majority Staff Report on the design, development, and certification of the Boeing 737 MAX.

Additionally, Andrew spent time working in the health care sector. He worked at UnitedHealth Group, where he harmonized content from across the External Affairs department into a singular voice.

Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and his master’s degree at Georgetown University. In his free time, Andrew enjoys trying out new recipes, being outside, and spending time with his husband and dog.
